Born in the South, Alicia Coleman caught the writing bug at age eight when she published her first story using cardboard, construction paper and glue. It was a family best seller!
After college, a kid and several jobs, Alicia decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. In 2011, she joined Romance Writers of America. She writes contemporary, paranormal, sci-fi romance, and historical romance and is a member of the following RWA chapters: Contemporary Romance Writers (CRW), Cultural, Interracial and Multicultural RWA (CIMRWA), Futuristic, Fantasy and Paranormal (FFPRWA), Kiss of Death (KODRWA), Passionate Ink (PIRWA), and Southern Magic (SMRWA).
Alicia inherited her romantic soul from her father who looked upon his wife (Alicia’s mother) as a treasured gift from God.
When not researching and writing, you may find Alicia curled up with a book and sipping a hot cup of tea, searching for past family members through genealogy, watching reruns of the Star Trek franchise decorating her personal and business planners or enjoying music.
